Siege of Boston - UKS2 BOOM Cards™ Comprehension Activity

A BOOM Cards™ reading comprehension activity about the Siege of Boston which was the first major part of the American War of Independence. The reading comprehension resource is perfect for students in Year 5 or Year 6 who are learning about U.S. History.

Ideal for distance learning, the activity can be completed on tablets, phones or computers. The resource also comes in PDF format so it can be printed and used in the classroom.

For first time BOOM Card™ users, the resource comes with an explanation of how to assign the cards to your class, and has lots of useful links to support you using the activity.

The activity requires NO PREP and has several bodies of texts that students need to read through thoroughly; then they can use the text to find the comprehension and grammar answers. The BOOM Cards™ activity is self-marking, with a teacher answer sheet provided in the PDF.

We also specialise in play scripts, we have a William Shakespeare collection with Richard III, Macbeth and Hamlet. We also have a good selection of Christmas play scripts including Elf, The Santa Clause and A Christmas Carol.
