A quick lesson that introduces the idea that history is not just in the past, but how it shapes the future. It was an 'introduction' to the concepts of the most significant events or inventions of the 20th Century. The students then researched and came up with their own ideas.
It was as a spur to getting the students to think about more than just the obvious.
