Just to show that this is still useful - I am going to use it after half term to introduce pro and contra smoking becasue the Ppt uses a lot of typical German phrases. Following on from the previous comment if one wanted to be really picky the correct sentence would be 'man kann den Arzt 'um' Hilfe bitten' or 'man kann den Arzt fragen'.

Fehler: Man kann -dem Arzt nach Hilfe fragen -einer Nichtraucherklub beitreten Richtig: Man kann -den Arzt nach Hilfe fragen (Akk) - einem Nichtraucherklub beitreten.(Dat)
