Overview:

National Grid STEM resource pack is designed for a 1-hour interactive lesson where students will learn about future of energy and environment through Artifical Intelligence (AI) and Virtual Reality (VR). This pack links with the science curriculum aimed for Year 9 students.
*There is no planning or additional resources involved. Everything is included in the pack. *

Session Objectives

The purpose aims to inspire the next generation in rethinking about energy usage, electricity and sustainability in how technology can innovate and support the Net-Zero campaign. Students will have the chance to use their creativity skills in creating new jobs that could exist through AI, discover about Natural capital and how National Grid can protect the future from wildlife, sea life, greenhouse to sustainable environments.

As part of the pack, there’s a competition involved for a chance to win a VR headset or site tour at National Grid London Power Tunnel.
