Stone Age reading comprehension questions

These are questions I put together for our book** Vlad and the Stone Age**. There is a mixture of different levels of query that require recall, deduction and inference to answer.

This resource is also on the Reading Riddle website (under the Free Resources tab) to help parents maximise the impact of reading with their children.

The book is a highly illustrated short story, with complex vocabulary and images that are inspired by the latest research and archaeological finds from the Mesolithic period. It is perfect to read in one sitting and leads into many activitives and a deeper understanding of life in the Stone Age. The story focusses on Star Carr and the finds there.
