The text is an aboriginal story called ‘The Spear’ and was taken from the website http://education.abc.net.au/home#!/digibook/2570774/dust-echoes, which has since been archived. The lesson introduces the concept of storytelling, the full text and comprehension activities. Available as a NOTEBOOK file, a POWERPOINT and also a PDF. I used this with Y5/6.
