This resource is one video which runs for about 15 minutes. It is a ‘talking book’ video based on the illustrated paperback that I published on Amazon a few years ago, entitled The Curious Tales of Alfred the Great Thinker. This video comprises the first tale, Nice Weather for Ducks. Let me know if you like it and I’ll convert the other tales as well.
It’s a self-contained little story with two opportunities to pause the video and discuss various issues and dilemmas with talk partners. It could be used with the whole class together using the IWB or just two pupils at a time on a laptop.
