Use images sheet to work out 'the story&' of why Germany and the USSR signed the non-aggression pact. Pupils should try to work out what they images are trying to show. Works best immediately after the class has studied Munich/Appeasement.\n\nThis is followed by some teacher-talk on what happened after the signing of the treaty, and then a source exercise.\n\nAs an extension task you could add a GCSE style question - 'Explain why Germany and the USSR signed the non-aggression pact.'
