A really exciting (loud) lesson that is ideal for Christmas or end of term. Pupils learn about how party poppers work and try to discover if there is a link between the colour of the popper and the force needed to pop them. The worksheet at the end of the powerpoint is aimed at KS3 and low ability KS4 but can be adapted to suit. Please feel free to review this activity

Thanks for sharing, I'm adapting this for an observation lesson tomorrow. I tried it but the party poppers we have don't go with a full weight rack on it. Going for the Newton meter instead!
