A scavenger hunt to look at the impact of the blitz on Sheffield. Original idea from elsewhere and altered greatly. The students are to consider what might have been the target of the German bombing and then look at the information and evaluate if the Germans did actually target that and if the raid was a failure or a success.

This is an awesome resource - I have slightly adapted the PowerPoint and made the flash cards larger but as far as the lesson goes, it is engaging, focused on independent learning and certainly sets the scene for interest and enquiry. Thank you!
