UNBOXED Learning - GALWAD: THE FUTURE (A Future Movement & Taking Action) Ages 7-11

This resource was created as part of UNBOXED: Creativity in the UK, a celebration of creativity that took place in 2022 across the four nations of the UK. Ten projects brought together science, technology, engineering, the arts and maths, to create unforgettable experiences in person and online for an audience of 18 million. This resource has been created as part of UNBOXED’s GALWAD project.

The Future:
Now that we’ve imagined what a brighter Wales could look like, we need to work out how to make that vision a reality. Hear about the small steps Efa and other people will take to improve the world and come up with your own! Perhaps you’ll start growing your own vegetables, or maybe you’ll only wear used clothes from now on. All of the world’s biggest changes started with positive solutions to a problem, as we learn in the Q&A with solutions journalist Shirish Kulkarni. After all: if we can’t imagine a positive future, how will we build it?
