Valuable Vocabulary 2, great spelling practice

I use these worksheets for extending vocabulary with Year 6 and lower Key Stage 3 pupils.
For spelling practice, dictionary skills and vocabulary extension, the Valuable Vocabulary worksheets are ideal as an English lesson starter.
Each worksheet has three sections: Task 1 involves arranging ten key words in alphabetical order; Task 2 asks students to find words related to a specific key word; Task 3 requires pupils to write one or two sentences that include some of the key words on the sheet.
The eleven Valuable Vocabulary worksheets include all the vocabulary recommended for pupils at the end of Key Stage 2 and can be used successfully with Year 6, Year 7 or Year 8.
