This lesson aims to familiarise pupils with verbs and adverbs and how to use these word classes to effectively create a specific mood in their writing. It is aimed at a LA y9 class who are completing IGCSE assignment 2- descriptive writing. Accompanying homework tasks are also available to download and work to reinforce learning of these word classes. This follows on from the lesson on adjectives.
