Puts key lines from the poem in a mixed up order. As students look at each line, they write in an idea for what the poem's theme might be. The theme is more obvious the further down they read, but they should cover the rest of the sheet up and examine the quotations one by one, to get the most out of this exercise.

An interesting approach that will get a good class discussion going.
