An easy to follow recipe for carrot cookies using ingredients that would have been available during WW2 when rationing was happening. The recipe is true to original recipes that people used at the time and is a fantastic way to link History with cookery/DT/food technology and bring rationing to life for the children. We did this in small groups and each child got to taste their cookie once it was cooked.

They are surprisingly delicious!
