Year 2 maths Money D2 giving change

Smartboard notebook with giving change activities to use as a whole class. This works alongside the session plan, which is detailed. My class varied from a level 1b to a level 3a in a year 2 class of 29, inc. three EAL. I was observed and assessed for this lesson and achieve good with outstanding features. I used baskets of items on the children's desks for independent activities so they could choose an item and work in pairs to find the correct change. Tasks were differentiated by: resources, TAs, and amount that children had to find change from. This activitiy worked over four days. Children enjoyed the role play element.
