Year 6 Reading At Home Challenge

This home reading challenge has 25 different tasks for children to complete over the course of one month.

e.g.

1. Ask your child to read quietly for 15 minutes and then ask them to tell you about what they’ve read.
2. Read a news article (paper or online) with your child.
3. Get your child to use five of the spelling list on the reverse in some sentence. Can be written or verbal.
4. Find a poem together (in a book or online) and discuss if you like it.
5. Choose a country to read about online together.

There are three different versions. A month version, an academic year version, and a February to July one.
