This simple resource was part of a scheme run at my last school in the English Department, for which I put together this document upon request. It is a very simple 7 page booklet with one page for each week in the student’s Summer holiday ready to be filled in along with a ‘Word of the week’.
The idea was to keep pupil’s writing during the holiday, giving them something to hand-in and giving teachers a view on the quality of the student’s writing abilities upon starting Secondary School.
