Originally from Brazil, Camila moved to the UK in 2005 to work as a software engineer and has since built more than 20 years’ experience across engineering, architecture and technology leadership. Before joining Tes, she spent almost a decade at Expedia Group, most recently as Vice President of Engineering, where she led teams using data and AI to deliver more connected and personalised digital experiences at scale.

Her career also spans TUI, Legal & General and Jaguar, giving her extensive experience in building and connecting large-scale digital platforms. As a parent, Camila is passionate about the potential for technology to give schools and teachers more time to focus on pupils. She is also a member of WITSEND, a network for women in leadership, and is committed to supporting greater representation of women in technology.
