GEMS International School at Tropicana Metropark is a private school in Shah Alam, Malaysia. Shah Alam is the capital of industrialised state of Selangor, with a population of 724,000 and established transport links to the national capital Kuala Lumpur. The school teaches children from the ages of 3-18 on a five acre campus. As well as teaching a British curriculum, the school’s programme of study is enriched with Malaysian language classes, geography, history, culture and moral studies. Academic facilities on campus include numerous specialist classrooms and labs, a dance studio, black box theatre, and various shared learning spaces. Sporting facilities include a futsal court, netball court, Sepak takraw court, and full-size elevated football pitch with artificial turf.
GEMS education facilities operate over 250 schools in 13 countries, teaching six international curricula.
