About Harmans Water Primary School
All about us
Every school is different and at Harmans Water Primary School we aim to create a safe, stimulating environment with a positive ethos that encourages our pupils to fully learn and develop. It is important for us that everyone feels welcome and valued; where achievement is expected and is celebrated but also a place where all members of the school community care about each other. Our children enjoy the safe and caring environment at Harmans Water Primary School and are friendly, confident and happy to come to school. We believe our school is a place where behaviour is good and where success of all kinds is noticed so we can take pride in all the work we are doing.
We are a large Primary School within Bracknell Forest, with 620 pupils in KS1 and KS2, 90 pupils in Nursery. The school is located on a mature site and is well resourced, both internally and externally. The site has several playgrounds plus an adventure playground, climbing wall, hard court area and woodland play area and an all-weather synthetic pitch. We also have access to a swimming pool and indoor sports hall, which is located next to the school site.
We are committed to working in partnership with parents and carers in our school to ensure children reach their full potential and succeed. Parents and pupils are proud of their school and are very supportive of our positive and welcoming ethos. This is reflected in the school being regularly oversubscribed. We aim to build the skills, knowledge and positive attitudes necessary to help all our pupils become responsible, respectful and tolerant citizens of the future. We have a dedicated and supportive staff who work very hard to provide the best opportunities for all our pupils and our Governing Body fully supports the school in providing the best possible educational opportunities for all.
