Vision and values
Oasis Academy Media City UK puts Christian core values at the heart of everything it does. The school strives to value every individual and protect their rights to freedom and choice. It welcomes students of all faiths or none. Teachers are committed to equality and inclusion, as well as to providing an excellent education for every pupil. They aim to help each individual develop academically, vocationally, socially, morally, spiritually, physically, emotionally and environmentally.
The secondary school concentrates on core subjects such as English and maths, but it also makes sure there are plenty of extra-curricular activities on offer. It has a sports hall and a dance, recording and drama studio, as well as a multi-use games area and theatre.
“The wider development of pupils, including their spiritual, moral, social and cultural awareness, is a strength of the school. The ethos of OCL is strongly reflected in the ethos of the school. Pupils are highly valued.”
