About The Old Vicarage School
The Old Vicarage School is an independent preparatory school for girls aged 3-11 years. Situated in a beautiful Grade 2 listed "castle" on Richmond Hill, we retain traditional values and have a clear vision for the future.
With our non-selective entry, we are very proud of our outstanding academic achievements. Each class has a maximum of 15 girls and our experienced and inspirational staff encourage self-esteem and provide a strong educational foundation.
Our girls are prepared for the entry examinations of London day schools and for the Common Entrance papers for boarding schools. We have an excellent record in securing entry and nearly all girls succeed in entering the senior school of their first choice.
Above all, we endeavour to make school a very happy experience.
Values and Vision
Education at the Old Vicarage is very personal. Our experienced and inspirational staff encourage self-esteem and give the girls a strong educational foundation. We are equally proud of the all round education the girls receive, whether it be musical, dramatic, artistic or sporting. Girls develop confidence, self-discipline and respect for others.
Our small class sizes, house system and buddies create an environment in which friendships are formed, personalities develop and talent is nurtured. Individual skills are recognised and carefully brought to the fore.
