Wansdyke School is a vibrant and thriving non-denominational single form entry primary school, educating children between the ages of 4 and 11 years old. Located in the market town of Devizes, Wiltshire, we are proud to have a very incredible children, who show exceptional behaviour and attitude to learning. We also have a supportive parent body. Our school also has a 28 place Complex Needs Resource Base which supports children with additional need from across the county.
Our loyal and passionate staff are committed to continually raising standards and achieving excellence, by continually developing the very best teaching and learning pedagogy. We also strive to provide a world class knowledge base curriculum that all our pupils can access. In 2021, we retained our ‘Good’ Ofsted rating and were praised for providing a purposeful and engaging curriculum and learning environment, which allows pupils to flourish personally and academically.
We joined Acorn Education Trust in 2019, which has provided exciting opportunities, and expertise for us to draw on. We work closely with other schools within the Trust and the central team, to help us continue to move forward through challenge and support.
