Uniquely designed Adjective Map graphic organisers in landscape and portrait.

Purpose: Adjective maps are useful strategies for teaching vocabulary. They allow students to visualize a word’s meaning, increase retention of new concepts and reinforce understanding of the meaning.

Useful in addressing the following Common Core Standards;

CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.L; 4.4, 4.5, 5.4, 5.5, 6.4, 6.

Overview: At the center the word map is a noun or an adjective. The surrounding boxes or bubbles have related words.
