The Lemonade War Vocabulary Workbook is a vocabulary based novel study supplement to the book by Jacqueline Davies.
It focuses on five vocabulary words per chapter for a total of seventy words for the entire novel. A master vocabulary list is included.
There are fourteen uniquely designed vocabulary worksheets.
To complete the vocabulary activities students find the quote in the story that uses the word and note the page number, then they practice their dictionary skills to find the meaning. They have to use context to determine the part of speech of the vocabulary words. Finally they either write an appropriate definition or a sentence using the word.
A blank vocabulary activity sheet (editable pdf) is also included so the teacher can add other words they choose.

Picture writing prompts are a great way to spark students' creativity.
