Aims of the Big Three after WWI [#2]

An introduction to the Big Three, and their individual aims for the peace treaty at the end of WWI, adapted for the Oxford AQA GCSE History (9-1): Wider World Depth Study (Paper 1: Section B). See my TES shop for other lesson and bundle offers!

Suitable as a standalone lesson or within the scheme of work!

Overview: This lesson introduces students to the Big Three. Students will examine their nuanced attitudes towards Germany, and their respective aims for the Treaty of Versailles.

Suitability: Designed for Key Stage 4 (Years 10 – 11), but highly suitable for upper-KS3.

Approximate Delivery Time: 50 – 60 Minutes
Note: Please be aware that some lesson activities refer to the Oxford AQA GCSE History: Conflict and Tension 1918–1939 textbook (Longley & Wilkes, AQA-approved). Activities that use the textbook are marked in the PowerPoint.
