Alice in Wonderland. ESL/ESOL PowerPoint Lesson 2 + Handouts for Beginner Level

This is an ESL/ESOL PowerPoint lesson based on the novel ‘Alice in Wonderland.’ This lesson focuses on the characters from the novel, as well as a creative activities relating to The Mad Hatter’s Tea Party

This PowerPoint contains fun activities for beginner/elementary level students of English, introducing them to the vocabulary and characters relating to the novel

The lesson contains the following contents:

• 22 slide PowerPoint presentation with a variety of reading, writing and communication activities
• 3 handouts which are incorporated into the lesson (handouts can be completed through printouts or or through online discussion

Handout One

Students have to cut and paste pictures to create the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party. (black and white handout which can be colored)

Handout Two

Students have to create a tea party menu for the Mad Hatter

Handout Three

Students have to match vocabulary relating to cupcakes and then design a special cup cake for the Mad Hatter
