This is an ESL/ESOL PowerPoint lesson based on the novel ‘Alice in Wonderland.’ This lesson focuses on vocabulary relating to the novel, as well as a character studies and information about the author of the book

• 3 handouts which are incorporated into the lesson (handouts can be completed through printouts or digitally)

Students have to put the vocabulary they have learned into the correct category of character, object or food

Handout Two

Students have to match the action or behaviour associated with the characters they have studied from the PowerPoint

Handout Three

A reading comprehension activity about the life of the author Lewis Caroll
