For Organisation The Heart download our free revision mat here: https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/resource-12926265 **Infections and Response revision mats: ** * Body Defences and The Immune System - Points Pursuit * Drug Development * Pathogens and Diseases * Vaccinations * Plant Tissues (TRIPLE ONLY) Pathogens and Diseases revision mat: this download includes 2 card sort activities to allow for differentiation. The first card sort is more suited for higher ability students as students are required to match diseases to their symptoms and methods of transmission and then separate these into the 4 pathogens. The second card sort is more suited for lower ability students as this is a domino style activity where students will make a chain of cards with their answer from the previous card leading directly onto their next question. This makes it a lot easier for students to spot their mistakes. Either activity could be easily used as a seated information hunt. For Infection and Response Medicines Clock Revision download our free revision mat here: https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/resource-12933576 **Bioenergetics revision mats: ** * Nando's Chili Topic Questions * Aerobic Respiration * Limiting Factors * Metabolism Question Maze Nando's Chili: this activity is designed to be printed 2 to a page and is a perfect end of topic quick summary activity to identify gaps in knowledge. I have completed one half of the sheet to show example questions for lower ability students and the other for higher ability students. The worksheet is available to be downloaded as a PowerPoint slide and so can be edited as desired or used as is. I typically allow students to jump in on the 'spice level' of their choice if running out of time but prefer to start all students on lemon and herb and have them complete tasks moving up the sheet as a timed activity. Metabolism Question Maze: QUESTION MAZE is a gamified revision strategy that can be integrated with any rewards system of your choosing and is a nice way to increase competition. Mix demand of questions are scattered throughout the maze with instructions for points clearly indicated for students. This activity works well as part of an individual or group task. For Bioenergetics Use of Glucose download our free revision mat here: https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/resource-12935690 For Points Pursuit activities: POINTS PURSUIT is a gamified revision strategy that can be integrated with any rewards system of your choosing and is a nice way to increase competition. Questions start off as low demand at the top and then progressively increase in difficulty as students move down the sheet - please note that I have used this activity style with higher ability classes and many students have started at the bottom to gain the most points and then worked their way up the sheet as an effective strategy. We also have POINTS PURSUIT topic revision for the entirety of Paper 1. Download for only £4 here: https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/resource-12926849
