This is a mini-project I did with my Y9 groups (middle ability).
They had already done a bit about film and were able to describe a film briefly in terms of its genre, what they thought of it and what it included.
Lesson 1 - powerpoint about France during World War 2 - discuss in groups & as a class.
Lesson 2 - watch first half of Au Revoir les Enfants.
Lesson 3 - Task 1 é 2 on group reviews powerpoint (we had groups of 4-6). Each group had 2 copies of the factfile é the review sheet enlarged to A3.
Lesson 4 - watch the rest of the film.
Lesson 5 - Task 3 é 4 on the review sheet.
