30 highly illustrated worksheets, each with facing teachers’ notes, in a 65-page PDF for bilingual and multilingual students in KS3–KS4. Worksheets use short captions, labels and speech bubbles to support students with limited English.

Help students cope with everyday situations in schools where teaching is mainly in English. Use the pack for newly arrived students’ induction or as support for students already established in school, within mainstream lessons, pastoral or form periods, PSHE and RE.

Topics cover timetables, finding your way around, uniform, equipment, homework, the canteen, corridors and the library. Subject-specific worksheets explore classroom situations in science, geography, maths, technology, art, music, PE and RE. Further activities address bullying, racism and sexism, subject options, reports and letters home.

Six introductory character worksheets provide picture-based prompts for talking and writing about students’ lives and backgrounds. The characters then reappear in school situations throughout the pack, offering opportunities for discussion, roleplay and practical language work.

Teachers’ notes give the aims, preparation, classroom approach, differentiation possibilities, answers where provided and extension activities. Two pages of general guidelines explain how to use the resource and adapt activities to students’ needs.
