A scheme of work of around five hours worth of lesson content including written resources, source work and a presentation. Aimed toward KS3 students, this scheme of work introduces the concepts of colonialism and imperialism, assesses the factors involved, observes the interpretations, highlights the key roles of nations such as Britain and Germany and evaluates the impact on colonised countries. Students will learn how to use sources effectively and comparatively analyse case studies.

Differentiation is prevalent throughout and resources are built to facilitate for EAL and SEN students as well.
