Conditional and consequential language for persuasion for UKS2

Help pupils move beyond simple statements and begin crafting powerful, persuasive sentences.

3. strengthen sentences by linking ideas and building impact

Pupils will learn how to transform basic sentences into more persuasive ones by adding detail, clarity and purpose. The lesson follows a clear progression from identifying problems, to explaining consequences, and finally to using conditional structures to influence the reader.
