A simple maths game, designed in Powerpoint that is ideal for sharing via the interactive whiteboard as a whole class maths starter. Children are presented with a ten-frame showing different amounts of farm animals from 1 to 10 and have to click the matching numeral on the number line.

Later on, this progresses to asking the children how many more animals would be needed to make 10. This activity reinforces children’s knowledge of number bonds using the ten-frames.

This Powerpoint includes ten-frames showing various farm animals from 1 to 10 and is easily editable. The ten-frames can be printed out and laminated as an independent follow up activity that can be used in a variety of different ways.
