Lessons are suitable for the new style GCSE in Geography
Lessons are differentiated to be delivered to KS3 and KS4

1. to understand differences between countries, continents and oceans
2. to understand what Geography is.
3. to identify where Britain’s rivers are found, patterns between their locations, where they flow from and to.
4. to understand how to apply scales to real life maps
5. to understand the use of a compass and apply to direction on a map
6. to be able to understand 4 and 6 figure grid references
7. to be able to give accurate height readings from a map by using contours, spot heights and layer colouring
8. to distinguish between lines of latitude and longitude in order to locate places around the world
