This full lesson allows students to create their own interpretation of Macbeth’s Act 3, Scene 3 in which Banquo is assassinated. It uses Freytag’s Pyramid (the story pyramid) to help students retell the story. The resource will be ideal for anyone wanting to help their classes to revise this key scene, as well as anyone wanting to remind students of the accepted ways to write short stories. It would work for GCSE level but also could be adapted for younger students easily. It would also be an ideal lesson for the end of term or for the end of a scheme of learning based around Macbeth.
