Starter is a word search of 12 words related to snowy conditions. There is then a teacher PPT with the word search solution. Also within the PPT there are 5 picture prompts for pupils to describe. There is then a story of a boy who has built an igloo to give pupils ideas for their own creative story. Pupils need to write about:
- Where did you go?
- Describe the weather
- What did you wear?
- What did you eat and drink?
- Best thing / worst thing about being off school
- Snow activities…… building a snowman / igloo, sledging, snowball fight, making snow angels
- Descriptions
- Opinions
