Several pictures of people with a very basic description - pupils have to improve the descriptions by adding extra information, opinions, connectives, etc. You can do this either individually, in teams or as a whole class competition with mini whiteboards. The final slides have no descriptions - pupils have to write their own from scratch. My Y7s went mad over this, I did it partly as a whole class game and gave them points for every connective/opinion/extra detail they gave, and then I got them to do it by themselves in their books.
