Use each rhyme for starter ideas linking to Communication and Language/Literacy/Number/Personal Social and Emotional Development/Physical Development/Understanding the World/Expressive Arts and Design:

On World Read Aloud Day (or any day) Share the videos and focus on reading aloud with the children before adopting a my turn/your turn approach to reciting the rhyme together.

Share the rhymes/share new words/discuss the rhymes from a PSHE, sharing and caring perspective. Share ideas for actions, model and act out together/act out the rhyme indoors and outdoors/ use different voices for different actions/ask questions linking to PSHE in terms of friendship and caring for selves/create friendship/bedtime pictures
