This resource teaches students the basics of definitions, examples and effects of the basic elements of English language: Metaphor, simile, personification, motif, repetition,listing, alliteration and onomatopoeia. The sheet is printed out, laminated and the definitions, examples and effects are cut out for students to reassemble.
Once reassembled, students can complete the worksheet (half the information has been removed) by either copying or rewriting it in their own words.
