Exploring garden and pond plants

This activity accompanies ‘Outdoor Explorers: Planting and Growing' (published by Franklin Watts). It provides opportunities to observe, find out about and identify features in the natural world and describe what they see. The activities include looking at garden and pond plants. Also included are two sheets that show how the six areas of learning and development in the early years foundation stage (EYFS) are supported by the activities in the book.
