A bit of info about Forces & Structures along with a couple of small quick activities.
I used the second part of this presentation (forces) to challenge the kids to work in groups. Each group then had to give a presentation to the class. I printed the last 5 sheets of this pdf off and handed one sheet to each group and then took it away after 5 mins, they then gave a presentation to the class about their specific force. A busy lesson but if you pull it along with pace it works well. Try it...

fantastic. this is a brilliant resource.......I'm just at the end of my pgce and I haven't taught structures yet at any point, so I have saved this for when the time comes and I am panicking! <br />thanks, if it helped me understand a bit more I'm sure it's great for the kids!
