Treasure hunt reading and problem-solving activity.
Maps should be laminated and laminating the clues would be useful too.
Give one map to each group (of about 3 pupils) and a whiteboard marker. Pupils take it in turn to find the clues hidden around the room and report back to fill in their map. This activity is best carried out as a race.
