The lesson powerpoint teaches students how to draw a simple graph step-by-step in a relatively lively way. The Bottle Rockets worksheet (word document) can be used to follow up / expand on this and includes challenge activities / questions. The lesson is suitable for both KS3 and KS4 - for KS3 classes it may take a whole hour lesson, while for KS4 it is likely to be part of a lesson.

This was the first resource I uploaded years ago and has been downloaded thousands of times with excellent reviews. My more recent resources are longer, more detailed and more sophisticated but this resource is excellent in its simplicity.

As a Secondary Science teacher, Deputy Headteacher, writer and examiner for many years I make high quality no-prep lessons so busy teachers can teach outstanding lessons without spending hours planning.

If you use this free resource I would be grateful if you would please leave a review and take a look at the other resources in my TES shop.

Fantastic resource, great for showing how to draw a curve graph, most students have the misconception that graphs tend to be straight lines.

A really good and on point lesson for graphing. I plan to use it with Grade 7, they already have some basic knowledge of graphing, so this will be a revision and extra practice.
