WALT : use commas in sentences.
(written this way to encompass usage both in lists for LA & MA, and in marking out extra info for HA.)
WILF: commas that sit on the line and that are in the correct place in the sentence.
Great for a teacher who needs a detailed lesson plan and a ready to use smart notebook programme.
Original stimulus and lots of funny examples which my class loved. Oh how we had some fun with commas.
I did it in the lead up to a play so they had to write lists of things they'd need for the play. Your students could use the same stimulus (on end page to print out) or make up their own lists.
