A PowerPoint presentation that begins with an activity in pairs asking students to define the term power. Students then post their definitions around the classroom and discuss the various ones. A series of YouTube videos follows with a final discussion on what is power, who has power, what types of power are there and why it is used. Originally used with an IB Year 1 Global Politics class, it could be adapted to suit other curriculums such as AP or A-Level. PowerPoint format ensures easy uploading to any VLE.
