A great resource to work with children 1:1 or in groups to look at what they can and cannot control in their lives. Opens up discussion around issues and differing opinions - some people may be able to control things that others can’t. Creates empathy and understanding.
Can be extended - once children have placed the cards, open up the next stage with ‘What might change when you are an adult’. Will you still need to be respectful? Can you choose where you live? etc
This resource has created some great impact and discussion around choice and consequence as well.
