Pupils will debate against Stephen Fry’s argument against the existence of God based on the existence of evil and cruelty. This lesson introduces ideas about the nature of Allah (immanence and transcendence). The pupils will have to define keywords and explain their relevance and application to the Islamic ideas of Allah. Analysis of scripture is included. How these beliefs influence Muslims and understand the existence of evil is also covered within the lesson
