Presentation used as a research activity or library lesson in an English/PSHE/General Studies lesson. Pupils are presented with a list of 6 individuals from a variety of fields that share a common surname. The pupils are also presented with a brief description of the achievements of the 6 named individuals in an incorrect order. The pupils are challenged to discover the correct “top and tail” pairings. Printable slides are available for all 10 challenges and possible extension activities could be that the pupils use their own family names to produce a similar challenge for their classmates. There are 33 slides in the whole presentation and hyperlinks are embedded for ease of navigation
